About 1 minute left in the half, Ryerson cuts it to 15. Their warming up now, but D will clamp down again in the second half.

MikeG just drew a foul bringing up the ball. His handle and speed are not there, but he has had his moments shielding quicker defenders away. He needs that when he's in at PG, and that's why he has a problem with the trap when another guard doubles him up. He has to pass out of those situations unless he breaks through the pressure. I just wonder if he has the speed for the latter.

A Ryerson just dunked on us.

This is undiluted awesomesauce. The actor who plays Ned also played a recurring character in Deadwood (one of my top 5 TV shows) and appeared on Justified (one of the few currently running shows I spend time on).

Early 2nd half, Coleman with 4 more points in the paint. Ennis had a breakaway layup and Cooney hit a three. On DC2's first points of the 2nd half, he held onto the ball and gave another fake down low. All he has to do is hold onto the ball and be patient with the defense.

DC2 just challenged a shot a few feet below the paint and his man missed. Cooney hit his second three, 55-27. Coleman offensive rebound chance and defender fouls him. He's drawn a few fouls already.

Patterson, stingy on the ball but over-committed his assignment in the zone and his guy makes him pay for three.

Needlenose Ned (named Jones), pullup three is good. Tyler the Beast Roberson checking back in. Ned's got nothing on our nicknames.

MikeG just (last year Cooney) bumbled, stumbled, fumbled his way to a turnover in free space. He looked like he was trying to do something fancy.

Roberson, defending in deep, alters a shot that goes in anyway. Earlier play, Roberson was far out of position but got back to his spot in the wing and contested a three ball. He's got speed but is a little rusty right now.
