David was invited to "work out" for the Giants on the same day as Simms (at least that is what I have heard). The reason is the NYG wanted two QBs to throw to WRs they are interested in drafting. Since Legree and Simms grew up within 30 miles on the Giants they don't count as visits for the team. Similar to college recruiting, pro teams get a certain amount of "visits" they can use on prospects.
