Eagles/Cowboys and Packers/Bears are straight-up playoff games.

I want to throw up in my mouth while I say this but Go Eagles
NEVER! I strongly dislike the Pokes, but I hate the iggs with the white-hot passion of a million suns.

igss/pokes is a tough one, disgusting actually.

whoever wins i will root for them to lose the next week.

igss are going to be around for a bit, win or lose...so i guess id love to see jeruh and romo lose just to watch the blank stares & crying and impending off season turmoil.

For the 3rd straight year the Cowboys play in Week 17 for chance to win NFC East:
2011 - lost at NYG
2012 - lost at WAS
2013 - ?? vs PHI

I understand this reasoning, but I would love to see the iggs lose, then the Pokes lose in the first round at home. It would be conceivable that would be enough to keep Garrett around for another year - something that the other 3 NFC East teams would love to see.

The lesser of 2 evils are the Iggs. Love to see the girls lose. The other game I have no real feelings either way but will probably root for the Packers for no good reason.

Both matchups should be fun to watch for those of us who have no dog in the fight.

My guess is that GB-Chicago has the better finish. I have a feeling the Eagles may roll the Cowboys. Don't see how they stop them, and I don't see Romo and company keeping up. Hopefully it goes down the wire though.

At least Igs fans are from a place, all the random Cowboy fans who haven't even been in their timezone is one of the worst things about American sports. I sorta rooted for the Skinnies yesterday, felt dirty as hell.

I share no love for the evil green myself believe me. I just want to see the look on Jer-Ahs face when they lose at home to once again miss the playoffs. Then watch Romo walk off the field with his head down. Plus Dex Bryant is almost a shoe in to do something stupid in retaliation so its really a no brainer entertainment wise.

The Romocoaster will be an interesting watch this week. I mean this setting up for Dallas to have an early lead then Philly taking the lead and Romo throwing a killer on INT to end the game and Garrett will have wasted a couple of 2nd half timeouts and Philly winning.

If Dallas wins though they have no shot in the playoffs. They would be the 4th seed and would lose to San Fransisco. Philly with a win would be the 3rd seed and I think they could be New Orleans outdoors.

The NFC playoffs should come down to Carolina @ Seattle. The AFC are completely wide open. Denver won't have Von Miller, New England won't have Rob Gronkowski, Cincinnati won't have Geno Atkins, and Indianapolis doesn't scare you.

O for Three Peat?
Hitting for the Cycle - Dallas Style?
Tony Romo Hat Trick?

Romocoaster. I like that. A lot.

I can root for the Eagles again now that the dog-killer is in the doghouse. Foles looking good!

Garrett is gone if the Boys lose. And they will lose - this coming from a self admitted, "random cowboy fan" who doesn't live in the "Dallas time zone" (I know it's not your quote). Had I realized as a 6 year old that growing up as a cowboy fan in a cowboy fan house was "one of the worse things about American sports," I might have punched my mother (not really, mom).

i think the worse thing you can wish on a cowboys fan, besides jeruh that is (the gift that keeps giving), is to have romo and garrett together a few more seasons until the giants get good again.

This thread make me.. :D
this will wipe that off.....

the iggs are the rutgirls of the NFC East. the rest has been kickingarse and taking names since its formation in 1970, combining for 12 SuperBowl Titles and all you dog-killer sympathizers have done is lose 2.

vpi & bc's trophy cases have more hardware in it.

I've found that the only thing I have in common with Giants fans is a deep and abiding hatred for the Cowboys.

Go Eagles.

GO MIAMI AND SAN DIEGO!

Baltimore!

Nah - we live in reality. We need to win one and won't have done until we do. That being said - any Giants fan need not say a word this season. They've been awful. Truly horrible.

Just remember the enemy of my enemy is my friend. I always felt all 3 NFC East teams Washington, Philadelphia, New York hate the Cowboys the most. Then it seems Philly-NYG is the 2nd best rivalry and Philly-Washington, Washington-New York are hated rivalries, but not as much as Dallas.

Its like that for my Patriots. All 3 other AFC East teams hate New England the most. The only AFC East team this Pats fan fears or gets juiced up for are the Jets games because while they haven't squat since 1968 they atleast beat us occasionally unlike the Dolphins/Bills who the past 20 years haven't done much to scare me. When I was a young kid Bills-Dolphins was the best rivalry in the division, but no more.

If the Giants hadn't beaten the Patriots in these past 2 Super Bowls I think they would be a closer friendship between the franchises/fanbases. I have to tip my cap to the Giants as they are the only team Tom Brady doesn't have a better than .500 record against since 2001. Both franchises have coaching connections with Bill Parcells and Bill Bellichick and the ownership groups Kraft and Mara are both powerful in the NFL.

I compare the divisions like

NY Giants-New England- top brands in each division
Philadelphia-NY Jets- both green teams in the shadows of NYG/NE with their titles
Dallas-Miami- both have titles in the past, but are always mediocre it seems.
Washington-Buffalo- teams that have struggled the past decade, but have god histories.

Miami will rise again.

We may be on top of the division if Brandon Gibson never got hurt.

But oh well, that's a long shot.
