The only entertaining moment from yesterday

Late in the game, a group of Georgetown students near us decided to start an "A-C-C! A-C-C!" chant. About 10-15 seconds into it, surrounding Syracuse fans joined into the chant and started chanting it right along with them.

The G'town students looked at each other very confused, and then realized... what they were chanting wasn't an insult, it was a compliment.

The thing about GTown, for the most part, Men's Basketball is all they can really hang their hat on with respect to D1 sports. They will be in a competitive conference to showcase their team. That conference will likely send teams deep into the tourney most years, so good for them to land where they belong. SU wasn't going to be a member of the C7+ anyway if they were going to try and keep a viable D1 football team (like UConn), so we did what we needed to do. With the demise of the Big East, the ACC was our best option. I think we made out well too.
