A year or so ago, orange79 and I were out to dinner with our brides. The conversation eventually led to the board and how lively the debates can get. I mentioned that we can all fight, chew, complain and disagree with each other, but at the end of the day we all have something in common. Our love of the Orange. Not only that, but as orange79 stated, “ we have each other’s back, no matter what”. So true. To think of the times that fellow board members came through for me in various ways...tickets, tailgates, etc.
It happened again today. I’ve been concerned about how I was going to land tickets to the ND game in NYC, and made it known with a few posts. Out of the blue a fellow board member who had early buying privileges , due to the fact he is a donor, offered to but tickets for me. I took him up on his offer.
Words cannot express my appreciation for this guy. He will remain anonymous, as he doesn’t know I’m writing this about him, but, I know he will see it. Thank you so much for reaching out to me.
