First its obvious that Eric is hurt but that is not the reason to play Tommy Gun.
By giving him a few series it forces opposing D coordinators to plan for him while providing Eric with a well deserved rest. I hope that at a minimum he gets a series or two each half going forward.

Just dont see the obvious injury. EDs passing troubles are more mechanics, wrs inability to get seperation, lack of chunk plays in the running game, and some predictable play calling .

no

No he dinged his shoulder and hasnt been the same since if you replay the games just focus on the passing plays. He is hurt.
With almost two weeks rest, it is my hope he returns to form.

the more he plays this year the better he hopefully plays next yr. but winning comes first.

Saw this thread on my main forum page. Thought this thread had to be started by kcsu. Lo and behold ... On his profile page, in addition to stirring up here and mocking Gerry McNamara, it says he also enjoys putting bees in a jar and watching them fight, and sadism.

Agree. Wouldn’t it be some kind of gross negligence to have him playing with a hurt shoulder since game one, anyway? I mean people are tossing the word “injury” around which to me indicates something more serious than the recently dubbed “owie”

MAYBE Dr Tucker is playing lose and fast with the kids medical care...

Agreed in general just 1 series a quarter allows us to play faster and Dungey to run the offense faster and run more. I wouldn't split up the time more than that right now.

If you don't think hes ready though you ride Dungey into the ground and let Devito go out with confidence from the FSU game.

Hes made a couple great throws but things have been a little out of sync when hes been in with regards to timing in general and the read option. Our WRs don't have the best hands. Custis is the only WR I see as a great fit right now since hes tall and Devito over throws the ball alot unlike Dungey who is usually short. You can't really be high on a throw to Sean Riley he doesn't have great hands and will likely tip it to a DB if its high.

I don't think this is the game to really make any drastic changes we could easily be 6-0 why panic.

Something tells me that next year, Chance Amie will be the most popular backup in Syracuse.

I think Tommy will have a stranglehold on the position and we’ll be wondering if Chance will contribute at a different position.

Always good to have at least 1 talented backup.

Chance would always be just one play away from having a chance.

Can't figure out if KC is simply attempting to generate board traffic or if he is a genuine troll.

I wish he was a troll. Sadly he isn't.

I agree in that I don’t think they’ll move him. I just think TD will have it locked down and we’ll want to see Chance on the field.
