Obviously, younger players may have had a limited contribution to that year’s team but this could still be a measure of the overall talent on the team. Also, I realize that some players transferred out and played well for other schools. I added in their NP at other four-year schools to better estimate their talent level. One thing I could not account for is players leaving early for the pros, (which has a big impact on our national championship team), so this is an indicator, not a precise measurement of the overall talent on the roster. This uses recruited players only – no walk-ons.
