Scored 10 points, hauled in 8 rebounds (6 offensive), had 2 blocks and 1 steal, against only 1 turnover and 3 personal souls.

The problem wasn't the center position. The problems are far more diffuse.

Completely agree. Our defense is not the best or second best in Basketball like it was with Fab so it means were not going to stifle everyone we play and while the defense is still solid, we actually need to score. Rak/Keita were fine yesterday. The problem is that noone on this team can shoot right now and they freak out when they get zoned. If Scoop and KJo just played respectable we have a chance to get to the Final 4, however they are playing so bad that they are actually a detriment to us right now.

If im JB, I tell Dion and KJo to take it to the rim EVERYF***INGTIME.

I think the centers did their job. All year we've had different kids step up and dirty did the trick yesterday. As for Kris, I'm not so sure his knee isn't bothering him a bit and it's been a long season, hopefully continue to be a long season but it does take its toll on the body.

Statistically, they played well. I thought Baye played a bit better than Rak actually. Defensively, I wasn't impressed too much with Rak.

I thought they'd go for 14 and 8, actually

I'd like to see them do a better job of clearing the lane. There were several occasions when our guards would penetrate and face a wall. No reason for not being able to screen a midget when you are almost 7 feet tall.

Rak called for the ball better than he has in the past but he was still getting pushed around by guys who should have been mosquitos to someone his size.

But collectively they certainly played well enough. We let Ashville make too many 3's while we took and missed too many 3's...Kris 0-5, Scoop 1-3, Triche 0-3, Waiters 1-5

The problem is Kris Joseph ...

Not just Kris--CJ was practically a no-show as well.

And we need more from Brandon / Scoop / Dion. They should have shredded these guys on penetration, but instead were content to pass the ball around the perimeter the whole first half and settle for contested jumpshots.

You're not going to win too many games playing like that.

I was worried about Dion falling into the 3-point shooting trap after his BE tourny performance. He's a streaky shooter at best.

McForth was a no-brainer nickname, what to we come up with for our current two-headed center? Baye Moussa Christmas? RAKEITA? That what I am going with.

DNABB5 has officially proposes that all two-headed center comments going forward use the name RAKEITA.

Which sadly puts him right at home with Kris, Scoop, Brandon, and James...

That's not bad. I could get behind that nickname.
