- Elijah Hughes and Buddy Boeheim each had 22 points. Strange stats: Elijah was 4 for 6 from two, Buddy 5 for 12. Elijah went to the line 9 times, Buddy 0. Buddy never got fouled?
- Joe Girard suddenly erupted from his slumber to score 8 of our last 14 point, including a looong trey to give us our last lead at 70-67 with 1:34 left. We’ve been going with the hot hand recently. We needed Joe to get back on the beam. We need to play like a team with four guys who can fill it up because that is who we are.
- We were +8 in turnovers and had 10 steals. It mostly negated our disadvantage on the boards for the game, although in the second half we were +3 in turnovers but -8 in rebounds.
- Clemson is tough at home. That’s where they beat Duke. Do the same thing this Saturday and all is forgiven.
