- Rex Culpepper threw for 211 yards and 3TDs. Sean Tucker ran for 111 yards. That should be enough to beat Liberty. It might be enough to beat somebody else if we can play defense.

- Despite the drop, which should have been a touchdown, Taj Harris had good numbers with 9 catches for 96 yards and a score.

- Mikel Jones keeps impressing. He had a sack and big takeover on that fumble. Adam Terry noted that he went to IMG Academy, as did Andre Cisco and that both were ballhawks “with a high football IQ”.

- Nolan Cooney keeps booming the ball. he’s averaging 62 yards per kickoff and 47 yards per punt. between the two, only 24 of 57 kicks have bene returned for 290 yards. With Andrew Szmyt, we are “Kicker U.”, although I’d rather be “Linebacker U.” like Penn State

- Our kick-off returns were excellent, aside from the two holding penalties. Nykeim Johnson, Markenzie Pierre and Trebor Pena got 140 yards on 6 returns, an average of 23.3. Without the penalties, we’d have had an average starting point of the SU 37 on those returns. Imagine how many yards they will compile next week!

- Next week should be relatively painless. That’s the blessing of low expectations.

1-4 with 6(?) to go

LET’S GO ORANGE!!!
