- Jalen Carey followed up his 26 point, 7 rebound 3 steal game with a 14 points 3 reboudn 3 steal game. This time he managed an assist and had only one turnover. He kept attacking the basket and got to the line for 5 of 6 foul shots. There were times when he was the only thing we had going for us.
- Elijah Hughes had 29 points, 7 rebounds and 7 steals in the two games. he played hard the whole time.
- While it was too little, too late, battle did average 16.5 points for the two games. He also filled the stat sheet with 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals.
- Bourama Sidibe moved fluidly, showing no signs of the tendonitis that held him back last year. In 23 minutes he scored 3 points, had 7 rebounds, an assist and a steal. Unfortunately no blocks. But it’s a start. He certainly out-played Chukwu and Dolezaj in the middle.
- Hopefully Howard will be back soon and JB can begin to build the offense and defense he really wants. There’s a long way to go.
