- Rakeem had another strong game, (has he had a bad one?), despite wearing defenders the whole game. He wound up with 23 points, 12 rebounds and 6 blocks. Big time stuff.
- Michael Gbinije had a huge game, matching Christmas’ 23 points on 9 for 15 shooting, including 3 three pointers. He’s become the player we saw in those high school highlight films.
- Tyler Roberson had another quiet game with 7 points and 5 rebounds but one stat jumps out at me: 4 assists from a power forward. Jimmy Satalin mentioned he’s getting good at getting the ball to Rakeem Christmas from the high post. I love a high post – low post game and we could be beginning to develop one.
