The Upside - Va Tech

- We were 10-7 (and 0-4 in the conference) this time last year and wound up in the Final Four.


- Tyler Roberson had another good game and another double-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds and a couple of blocks on 7 for 8 shooting.

- Taureen Thompson can put up numbers. He had 18 points and 8 rebounds to go with 3 blocks. A healthy Lydon would have bene pleased to get those numbers.

- Tyus Battle had one of his better games with 13 points.

- Andrew White kept us in it with his 13 first half points.

- We made a couple of serious runs at them but couldn’t get the big baskets when we really needed them.

Roberson didn't play well until it didn't matter in my opinion and TT is so bad defensively it's as if he didn't score. So that leaves Battle playing pretty good and White playing good for one half.

I didn't expect our record to be the same as last year after 17 games. We are in a lot of trouble.
