- It was 28-24 with 4:43 left in the first half and we were wondering what was going on.. SU went on an 11-0 run and outscored them 56-24 in the last 24:42.

- James Southerland returned to the form he’d shown against Fordham, Manhattan, Albany and Colgate. 19 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Can he show that form vs. Florida?

- Rakeem Christmas and Baye Moussa Keita also rose from the dead, totaling 13 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks.

- We had a great night knocking down threes with 13 in 30 attempts. We needed it. We’ll need it more Friday night.

- Scoop Jardine had a productive game with 8 points and 7 assists. Brandon Triche added 12/4 and Dion Waiters 7/3 with 3 steals.

- We get to arguing about this player vs. that player but basically, we’ve got 10 guys who can play. I’ve always said that if 1-2 guys play well, we lose. If 3-4 guys play well, we win. If 2-3 guys play well, stay tuned. It doesn’t matter which guys play well on a given night as long as we get at least 3-4 of them.

- Our streak of regular season non-conference wins continues at 34. We are a 70 foot desperation shot away from it being 48. We’d had 8 in the three priors years, (2005-08) and were that GMAC run in the NET away from missing the NCAA tournament all three years. It’s important to take care of business this time of year and are doing it.

Liked this part of your post. We got combo guard production from each of those three (getting tired of posts that label anyone a "point guard"), with spot up jump shots from Brandon. This team needs balanced production, team play, hit the open man mentality, and defense. We aren't going to get inside scoring from the bigs, but we can get balanced inside/out scoring from the other 4, and some dribble-drive penetration from Dion, Scoop and Kris.
