The wave

This isn’t being posted to start a debate about the wave…but the tv broadcast coming back from a timeout made it appear that Mario Cristobal was mesmerized by the wave. Did I interpret that correctly or can someone in attendance confirm that he was following the wave around the building? If so, that’s slightly endearing although still a bit embarrassing. It also could credit the wave in hypnotizing him into later kicking a field goal while down a touchdown with less than 4 minutes remaining.
