has to be the fact that the accuser said Bernie choked him and demanded $5k back and that is what spurred him to go to the police about the child molestation issues in the first place. That fact alone seems so very out of place here.

You mean the kid having a motive against Fine? I agree. It makes his story less credible. If he is being advised by counsel that was a mistake.

Someone posted last night in the chat that Fine has always been very giving to underprivileged kids, especially in terms of helping them get to school, scholarships, loans. I could see this as a "I lent you 5k to go to school and you spent it on drugs, give me my money back".
