A flawed basketball team with significant upside.
No reason to be completely obliterated on the boards as we have been. Expect to lose some battles due to zone but not to the extent that we've seen.
Teams that "live by the three, die by the three" seldom live long. Works for a game or two but not a sound season long strategy IMO.
Biggest head shaker to me is the breakdown in perimeter defense. Last 3 opponents have totaled better than 41%. Need to watch some tape but since G, Cooney, and Roberson played in a D that held opponents to just over 30% I wonder if 'Chi is struggling a bit. Forward is the toughest spot in the zone defensively and if this is the case maybe switching G and 'Chi on the defensive end might help.
