Seeing as only one team ran 90+ plays a game last season, I don't think we will see that happen. I think between 80-85 is more in the realm of possibility. We were 54th in the nation last season with 74.4 plays a game last season, I'll be happy as long as that number goes up.

I am well aware of those stats but this is a wish list!

you dont need to run a faster pace to run more plays.. you can get there by playing better D as well. 2 more 3 and outs by the D means at least one more possession by the offense and that can add the 4-5 more plays to get us to 80 and top 20..

I just want to tune in and see an offense that looks well prepared, has a good plan and is executing.

I just grew so tired over the last 15 years of being so pumped to see the offense in the first game, and then two possessions into the season thinking - "SON OF A .....another year of this????"
