1. Bromley and DDavis finishing. They both missed more than one opportunity to stop a play early. With Bromley it might be that he still doesn't have power and balance because of his ankle but he missed a bunch of early stops. Davis needs to come under control and wrap, still too much diving and reaching.

2. Shamarko 100%. Just like Bob Sanders, he seems to always have at least one significant injury. Kid is playing one handed and it effects more than just catching the ball. And, drink more water.

3. Better run blocking on the right side of the line. Can't wait to see Pugh, Chibane, Mackey, Foy/Trudo, and Hickey out there together.

4. Avoid getting LB's caught playing man in the redzone. Backbreakers.

The fundamental refusal to not wrap up the ball carrier has been a problem for a long time. I submitted this to the Coach's show at one point and Coach Marrone said they teach them to wrap up and they stress it all the time. This problem predates even Coach Robinson. It needs to be addressed in a way that the message gets through.

I'd add Wilkes to the list for #1. I know we want to play tough, and hit hard. I'm all for that. But if you don't wrap up, it becomes like a missed dunk attempt from the free throw line. Ooooh how cool, oh wait, it was kinda useless. It's fixable though. And it comes with the territory in early season games.

Per #3, crazy to think we still get Pugh, Lemon, Stevens back and we're coming off a 600 yard performance against a Big 10 team. Flemming too, but I think he'll be playing catch up to all the reps he missed both in practice and especially, games. Worth gold for West, Kobena, Clark.

I don't know how much football you guys watch outside of the Syracuse games, but this is not a Syracuse problem... it's a fundamentals problem with alot of players/teams across the country... maybe it's the "Sportscenter" effect... people go for the big hit instead of form tackling to get the runner to the ground. I saw lots of games this past week-end with missed tackles all over the place. Syracuse has their fair share, but they're not the only ones...
