Things we could fix

[The General]

1. The traditional (1) per game charges by Triche and KJ. Please, please make it stop. The look of disbelief on their faces only adds to my exasperation.

2. The KJ around the back, through the legs, crossover off my leg, dribbling showcase he puts on at the 3 point line. Love KJ. He's not Kobe. Can someone tell him?

3. Looking off our bigs. They work hard to get open, get position and we don't even consider getting them the ball? Esp. against these cupcakes, give 'em some post touches.

The latter may just be how JB wants his O this year. As someone said he is not yelling at the guards to dump it down. #1 and #2 would seem to be very fixable problems. I know you don't want to limit aggressiveness but mix in a jump stop or a sidestep. #2? Just tell him to stop, no? Wouldn't this save a couple possessions a game?

Yeah, I think so. Looks like he was whirling and going to attempt a lefty circus shot before he lost it way out of bounds...sigh.

Don't recall what was the result, but my first thought was that Boeheim must have called the play in an effort to get him more involved in the game. I also recall several lob dunks from his teammates. They are clearly trying to get him the ball when they have confidence that it will be a positive result. He also took a couple turn around back to the basket shots which is encouraging. He is still very much a work in progress and I don't expect big contributions on the offensive side of the court this season. Until he shows some low post scoring in practice when they work on these kinds of things, I don't think guards will have the confidence to go there in a game.
