See how you compare him to Alec Burks, last years #12 overall pick.

Burks is 6'6" though, and from what I've gathered (I studied his game a ton because I'm a Bucks fan and we had a shot at him), Burks came into the draft being the prototypical SG prospect. Poor range on his jumpshot, but pretty good form and a quick release (versus Waiters painstakingly slow and awkward release), and he really just needed to work on his footwork on his jumpshots for him to become a consistent shooter. Also has a big wingspan to go with his 6'6" frame and does an excellent job rebounding and using his body to draw fouls.

They're both slashers, but Burks has the size and fundamentals in his shot to develop that part of his game and be a very good scorer at the NBA level. Waiters has a lot of work to do in my opinion.

Im still going with a Steve Francis like ceiling(6'3) only Dion is stronger and more built for contact.
I think Dion could find even another gear if he want's it.

And I see alittle Jameer Nelson in scoop.

Couple of Orlando players.

Yes, I wasn't looking for comparisons to Burks in a physical way but more of what a #12 pick skill set looks like. It's funny how Burks gets labeled, but how does one label Dion. Will his game translate to a one or is he definitely a two. He definitely has some similar skill sets to Burks and with one more year at the Cuse he might show the consistency that he needs to be a lottery pick.
