It’s more than just hot or not, teams don’t get 5 ally-oops just because they’re hot, teams don’t get that many wide open 3s just because they’re hot. They’re a better team top to bottom and we were out coached over and over and over by them.

ACC has 15 teams. per REALGM going into last nights game syracuse had 4 players listed in the ACC top 25 most MPG category. BB (5) MD (6) Q (17) GRIFF (24) . sorry joe just missed at #26.
CAV's had 2 Hauser at #18 and Clark at #20. next closest was beekman at #40.
JB remains undisputed king of the short bench and he'll likely never surrender that crown.

Virg had 4 guys play almost 35 min each last game and 1 guy play almost all the rest.. really only played 7.. no way..

only SU does that according to board experts.

GT had 40/39/38/37/26 and 2 played 20.. only played 7 guys.

OP is discussing teams that don't go deep to their bench. My point is that some of these teams do it with much better talent on their bench than Syracuse has. It was not meant to absolve our coaching staff of any responsibility for performance. IMHO any failure to meet performance expectations over the last few years is DIRECTLY attributable to less that ideal talent. I will try to be more descriptive in my future posts so you can keep up.
