If Graham doesn't have the game of his friggin life this is a close game wire to wire.

Howard/Battle/Brissett are all legit big time players. The zone will be good and win us enough games against middle of the pack acc teams.

The uconn and gtown games are enormous.

Not sure we are. Think we're sitting squarely on the bubble

dickie v spouts a mountain of nonsense every game but he was correct when he said we'll win a few we shouldn't and lose a few we shouldn't. we played pretty well but lack of depth will kill us.

Graham scored 35 last game.

Stop acting like he's some scrub.

He averages 16. He had 35 with about 8 minutes left. He's not a scrub, but considering the opponent this was the best game of his life.

I think we're a tourney team. Our defense and rebounding are very good and the defense should get better and better as the season goes along.

Howard is good and I think he has much more upside to come this year.

Battle is a stud.

OB could also be a star by years end.

Our Center rotation is very solid and disruptive.

Washington/Dolezaj...please, give us something...

Moyer token starting is sure to annoy me to no end this year.

Okay? Team's best players make plays that lead to games like he had tonight.

Graham is a beast but if Tyus scored 35 or whatever tonight, KU fans would be saying the same about him even though everyone knows he's a stud.

I don't think so, but the uconn and gtown games will decide that. I think we'll go 10-8 in acc. If we beat uconn and gtown then we're a lock. Even 9-9 would get us in. Tuesday is a huge game, just like Maryland was.

lol yeah depth is what all the great Syracuse teams are made of

"Depth" isn't necessarily just about number of bodies you put out there, unless injuries is really what you are accounting for.

"Depth" in terms of production is what we lack. One of our best teams played 7 guys. But the depth was amazing in terms of versatility and production (09-10 team).

This team has the 8 players that now includes Washington, Moyer, and a lesser extent Marek. We need production from them, mainly some offense.

Our bench scored three points.

Also, 1/5 of our starting lineup scored zero.

So... yeah. Depth.

No one said that. Syracuse allowed themselves to get beat by one player. He had a number of open threes that no one closed out on much like Huerter did. The top of the zone needs a lot of work. That's how good Gbinije and Cooney were there.

This. Disappointing since we have great size out there. We keep cheating in and forget about guys like Huerter and Graham. Both him and Graham probably had at least six combined wide open looks from nothing special offensive strategy.

There was one play where both guards collapsed on a guy at the free throw line while Euro was standing behind them at the 3 point line. As soon as I saw that you could pretty much fast forward to us taking the ball out from under the basket after the three was drained.

KU knew we are at our best driving to the hole. On every single pick and roll play, they made sure three players plugged the gaps to keep Tyus and Frank out of the lane. They stifled our guards the entire first half. It took us too long to figure out how to beat that set. We shredded it in our run.

The guards get sucked in too much from the top of the key. They need to let the center take that guy. You can see it happening in real time. Cooney and Gbinije did the same thing in the first half of the UVA game in the E8 against Perrantes.

has always been an issue for our guards to some extent ever since going exclusively zone - some duos (MCW/Triche) have been better about it than others - Ennis, for instance, was really bad about it

If wanting to drive tonight, we would have been better off spacing the floor like end of game situations and let Frank or Tyus create from top of the key.
