who did you play and who did you beat? and where did you play them? you gotta look at the overall body of work. do they pass the eye test? have they done enough to impress the committee? how does their resume compare to other bubble teams?

Where you played them really is key with such unbalanced schedules this year. For us, we didn't have many quad 1 opportunities and the ones we did have were mostly on the road.

it always matters, just not something they can just point to now for a reason.

I agree but who have you played kind of has to go out the window to a degree this year, scheduling games this year was next to impossible, we didn't get a chance to play the best team in our conference because of Covid. Colgate could have been a quad 1 win, and we weren't allowed to play them. I think ooc schedule strength needs to be taken with a grain of salt this year.

Sort of agree, how can the committee judge mid-majors when they had less opportunity to play the P5 schools than usual. For example, Bonaventure is ranked around #26 this past week but bracketologists are seeding them 10th because they didn't play a preseason schedule to speak of. Even SU lost opportunities to pick up quality wins because they couldn't play in early season tournaments or schedule good/fair OOC teams.
