This may have been at some point...

Gotta love a kid who likes to hit - on offense! His D play is very good to great and he has no fear of hitting guys. I know we need a QB next season (and I am not for moving him to the D unless he cannot grasp the O) but he would be fun to watch on D. His jumps are worthy of the hoops team.

His offensive highlights look great, hitting kids in stride, short, downfield, crossing routes.

Womack/Dungey/Long battle next year will be epic.

Huh. I understand why you think there will be 3 in this battle. Here's hoping that 2 of the guys you listed will be so obviously much more talented, that there won't be 3 in the battle for very Long.

Long is talented. Thrown in a tough situation last season. Will have a redshirt year just like these two. He'll definitely be in the mix.

Unless my eyes are deceiving me Womack is standing on his tip toes, no literally lol.

Yeah, I hear you. I'm not anti Long, kid is a warrior and a leader. He just doesn't seem to have the arm strength or size to be as productive as we will need the QB to be. We haven't seen Womack, Dungey or Culpepper perform at this level, so it's all just guesswork. But...it's been a long time since we have had 3 kids with the upside this 3 seem to have.

Put me in the Womack camp.

The return of the freeze option?
Did defenses finally figure out the freeze option or did we no longer have the personnel to run it? I loved the freeze option.

I loved it to. But I think every HS kid playing QB wants to go pro, and they think they can't get there in an option offense. Just a guess

The spread option is the modern-day equivalent.
