Our DL got dinged up playing against the Citadel last year and later one of their players said their intent was to cause harm to our players so stuff like what happened to your QB apparently does happen on purpose - if so, this is coming from the coaching staff, as they set the standards, but no one would want to admit it for regulatory oversight if not outright legal reasons, except in such a case where the Citadel player let it slip out. Anyway, GT is hard to defend and has much better athletes than the service academies and 1-AA (FCS) teams running the option - Clemson plays them every year so they are better at it.
