I like this comparison.  I think this team's defense could be as good as the '12-'13 defense; they're just young and still figuring things out.  The offense, or lack thereof, is pretty much spot on.  While I'm certainly not saying Frank will be on MCW's level, he does share some of the same tendencies.  He's a big guard who plays defense well at the top of the zone (not as well as MCW, but not bad).  He can't shoot, he makes poor decisions at times and forces plays that aren't there, but he also racks up a decent number of assists.  MCW was a good distributor who turned the ball over a ton, if memory serves me.  Battle is clearly more talented than Triche was, but Triche was a grizzled veteran.  I think Oshae is at least on par with Fair from that season.  Fair shot an uncharacteristically high percentage from deep but that was only on something like 1.5 attempts per game.  And it's not a big stretch to think Sidibe and Chukwu could do what Keita and Christmas did.

The x-factor is Southerland.  We don't have a Southerland this season and I don't see any of the Forwards improving enough from behind the arc to be even close to the threat he was.
