Trevor's shot was way off. Tyler was relatively careless with the ball. As a team we only shot 35% & only 21% from distance. Though it felt like we dominated the glass we were only +6 for the game.

However, it was a stellar D effort. Our interior D especially (after the first few minutes) really excelled. Aside from the D, CJ was far and away our best player. Jerami was terrific for one half, but I do not believe he was able to score in the 2nd half. He should have had a 20 point game.

All in all it was really an easy 15 point victory (I know the final margin was 12, but we gave then a couple of uncontested buckets in the last minute).

I was disappointed that we did not have a Roberson sighting. He needs to get minutes. Both forwards played all 40 minutes, and there will be games when that strategy won't work. Maybe fatigue was a factor in Jerami not scoring in the 2nd half. It was ironic the announcers were talking about how well we developed players and yet we did none of that in this game.

Yep, "C" game, B+ on defense and D- on offense averages out to C.

Can't wait to see us play, more often than not, defense like we have the past couple of games but offensively like we did in Maui.

Then we will be scary good.

Cheers,
Neil

Agree on defense, our suffocating d the last few games (vu included) not only remind me of last yrs tremendous d, but also thinking that JB has a very realistic chance to go to backtoback FF for the first time in his career.
