Manningham the most recent failed a drug test, lied to every team in face to face interviews, then scored a 6 on the wonderlic, wrote a letter to all 32 teams saying he lied to them to their face in interviews about his drug use and was sorry...and he still got drafted in Round 3!!! Talent Trumps All! These teams will justify this as its a kid being a kid making a kid's mistake if they think he can help their team. If it is just marijuana, it won't hurt Thomas as much as you think. Now Thomas isn't Manningham talent wise as in a top half of the draft player. But would someone roll the dice on Thomas in Roudn 6 or 7...maybe. Would a team sign him as an un-drafted free agent...the line will be from here to Timbuktu.

I know it makes you and others feel good to bash Thomas now and say nasty things about him and call him stupid. [U]Hey he was stupid[/U]. He blew a great opportunity. But don't let it cloud logic. Thomas is a good (not great, but good) player and while this hurts his future it doesn't KILL it as you are saying it will and I am guessing hoping it will.
