that being said, I am thrilled by the progress of our bigs this season.
Marek just continues to grow in his game. Sid has progressed slow and steady. Q really, really hustles and adds excitement. He is also becoming much more consistent in stat accumulation.
i think part of the reason the interior D is so bad is because marek and sid can’t go all out on every play for fear of fouling out. If we had one more serviceable big it would make a huge difference.
as to our other big three, sometimes buddy’s lack of athleticism and joes lack of size makes them inconsistent. Elijah is the piece that needs to pull it all together, and when he has games where he goes 15 to 20 minutes doing little, it really, really hurts unless somebody else happens to catch fire during those lulls. I would like him to try and step up a bit more when there is a team lull.
all in all team is exceeding my personal expectations and we have a great shot at continuing the streak.
