Jamie Dixon hosted a huge prospect also. Beejay Anya appears to be a top priority for Pitt. He is a 6-9 forward out of DeMatha Catholic. He is a former teammate of current Pitt freshmen, James Robinson. Anya has DeJuan Blair written all over him, and would be a great fit for Pitt.

Nova playing only three games at Wells Fargo Center. Guess what? NCAA sub=regionals will be played there. Same deal they pulled in 2009 when NCAAs were last there. If you play fewer than four home games at a venue, you can get placed there in the tourney. (Of course, that's a big "if" for them this year, but it 's obviously what their sked-makers were thinking about).

Wow that is a really pedestrian looking list of BE POY candidates.

1. Otto Porter
2. Peyton Siva
3. Sean Kilpatrick
4. Jack Cooley
5. CJ Fair

Maybe I misunderstood and that is 5 for Thursday and the next five more likely candidates will be unveiled tomorrow? If that is the state of the talent this year, I think the BE is looking at a somewhat mediocre year, at least in terms of star power.

Otto Porter is a player, and if Siva plays like he did in the postseason UL will be very good.
Kilpatrick and Gody-2.0...meh.
As for CJ, if he pulls the same disappearing act ( btw- what was that all about?), that he did late last season then he won't sniff the BE-POY.
Don't know if he was injured or just tired, but his play became inconsistent and tailed off considerably.
Hope he's back to the old reliable CJ we all know and love! :D

As far as Notre Dame players, I think Jerian Grant has a better shot than Cooley to win BE POY. Jerian had a nice year last year, and I bet he takes a big step up this year.
