Anyone else think that film study article concept is going to rub recruits the wrong way? The PS isn't a recruiting site.

What is Cohen doing at the P-S? First he tries to do a film study on a kid that hasn't signed with SU, then has an article about a prospect the new SU staff stopped recruiting who then chose between Pitt, Indiana and CMU. He ends the article about the kid they weren't recruiting with "still, it's never good to lose a recruit to a conference rival".

You don't lose a kid you aren't recruiting. And given his other offers it seems a lot of schools decided to "lose" this same prospect. Of all the things SU football related to write about, you publish an article about a kid with lower tier offers, who SU isn't actively recruiting signing with another school? Oh Lord

these guys are hack clowns. what an embarrassment. this is following up their other bums article on how we keep losing out on top prospects from NY/NJ/PA. There was so much inaccurate information in that i didn't know where to begin.

Especially since his basic understanding of football is less than stellar. I love how he praises Mayes for "leaving his man to jump an underneath route." Nope he was playing zone and reacting to the route. No coach in the history of football is ever going to praise a player for leaving his man (who was running a deeper route) to jump an underneath route if the coverage is man to man! Kind of like the basket catch in the movie Major League where the manager says, "great catch, don't ever do it again."
