Tyler Ennis Predicts Orlando or Toronto Will Select Him (PS; Axe)

The 2014 NBA Draft is just a day away and all anyone can do is speculate on where former Syracuse University basketball players Tyler Ennis, Jerami Grant and C.J. Fair will be selected.

Including the players themselves.

When asked by ESPN's Andy Katz on where he may land in Thursday's draft, Ennis offered up the Orlando Magic and Toronto Raptors as possibilities.

Tyler Ennis Says He Learned a Lot in His One Year at Syracuse (PS; Waters)

Tyler Ennis spent just one year at Syracuse University, but the former Orange point guard said he got a lot out of his short time in college.

On Thursday, Ennis will be in the NBA's Green Room at the Barclays Center, waiting to hear NBA commissioner Adam Silver call his name.

On Wednesday, Ennis joined 19 other NBA draft hopefuls in a media session at the Westin Hotel in Times Square. And he spent part of his 30-minute interview reminiscing on his one year at Syracuse.

"I learned a lot,'' Ennis said. "We had our ups and downs last year. I learned from that. The NBA is a lot more ups and downs.''

What Will the Players Wear to the Draft? (PS; Waters)

At the Academy Awards, there is almost as much attention paid to the gowns on the red carpet as there is on the Oscars themselves.

So it has become at the NBA's annual draft. While there is much attention paid to which players will be the top draft picks, the event has also become a veritable fashion show for the big and tall.

"We're all going to be dressed to impress,'' Zach LaVine, the guard out of UCLA, said on Wednesday. "We're going to be walking up there and shaking the commissioner's hand, posing for the pictures and be with our family. We're all going to be dressed up.''

Who would have thought that the most-asked question at the Oscars would become relevant at the NBA draft: Who are you wearing?

"I've got a nice Gucci suit that I'm going to wear tomorrow,'' Kentucky guard James Young said, allowing that he had stopped into Gucci while on a recent trip to Los Angeles. "That's all I can say right now.''

JB on SU Players' Draft Potential and His Myths About the Process (PS; Ditota)

Tomorrow night in Brooklyn, the immediate fates of three Syracuse basketball players will be determined at the NBA Draft.

Which teams select Tyler Ennis, Jerami Grant and possibly C.J. Fair will impact the lives and careers of each former Syracuse player. Those determinations will also tangentially affect the reputation of their coach, who has been outspoken about the draft process and the decisions of his underclassmen.

Jim Boeheim does not know which teams will draft his former players. He said he talks to NBA personnel during the days and weeks leading to the draft. And during those conversations, Boeheim senses uncertainty in organizations as they attempt to sift through data and evaluate individual workouts.

During a recent conversation, the Syracuse coach expressed his thoughts on each of his former players:

World Cup Tiebreaker Rules: What Has to Happen for the US to Advance (PS; Hull)

With the United States and Portugal's stunning draw behind us the only thing left for U.S. soccer fans is to look forward. Germany, Portugal, Ghana and the United States all still remain alive in Group G.

All four teams play Thursday at 12 p.m. with the United States facing Germany and Ghana taking on Portugal.

After Thursday's games, two teams will advance to the knockout stage. So what are the U.S.'s possible scenarios going into Thursday?

U.S. and Germany play to a draw
If this happens both squads will be happy. Germany will win Group G, while the U.S. would place second, both advancing to the second round. If the game is tied going into the last 45 minutes of play, don't be surprised if you see the pace of the game slow down significantly.

U.S. beats Germany
In this scenario, the U.S. would win Group G with seven points (two wins and a tie). Germany would be left with four points (a win, a tie and a loss), most likely securing themselves second-place advancement.
