Tide has turned against ESPN

It's obvious that the public right now is outraged at ESPN for sitting on the tape and failing to at least turn the tape over to the authorities. Also, a lot of callers on talk radio are not happy with how they are reporting the story, especially how they seemed to sit on the tape in their reporting until after JB came out in support of BF. A lot of people are saying ESPN set things up to make JB look bad and milk the story for ratings.

JB survives IMO unless somehow there is some way to prove he had an inkling that BF had issues. That will be very tough to prove. Also, I think JB would be gone if we find out Laurie's been doing Cuse players.

They had a VP on Mad Dog for like 15 or 20 minutes justifying their actions. I was kind of disappointed Chris did not go after them more. Guess with the way he is hurting for guests he did not feel like he could alienate ESPN.

Maybe that's why their coverage is getting more slanted, more repetitive, more sensationalized. SportsCenter tonite was sooo biased. When nothing of major significance has changed since Sunday evening, ESPN's bumpers for SC tonite was about the "deepening crisis" at SU. They mentioned that many are "now calling for" JB's head, but ignored saying that many are lining up in support of Coach (including many of their own people, like Vitale) staying on.
