Given that USC has fell below 95% on the matrix, and sound arguments by Alsacs, and Palm having them out, USC is now on my list.

So there are still 2 open spots (Listed in Order of Matrix)
USC
St. Mary's
Arizona St
Louisville
Syracuse
Middle Tennessee St
Oklahoma St
Marquette
Notre Dame
Baylor

I can't really express how surprised I would be if we were in. We just didn't look like a tournament team to me.

USC
St. Mary's - Mid Majors tend to get eliminated
Arizona St - Terrible Slumo
Louisville - {Committee upset that they were not paid or sent any entertainment)
Syracuse
Middle Tennessee St - (See St. Mary's)
Oklahoma St - RPI
Marquette
Notre Dame - Lost to Ball St and Indiana with Colson,
Baylor - Lack of Road Wins

So it comes down to USC, Syracuse, Marquette

I think the ND hype machine has fizzled out and I don't think they leave all 3 ACC teams on the bubble out.

Our resume is more impressive than Louisville, including the head to head.

I'm going to be bullish and side with Palm that Syracuse and St Mary's get in, although if it were up to me, Syracuse and OK State would get in.

The PAC is so bad that they don't deserve any bubble teams to get in.

ND "looks" like a good team but they still lost to Ball State and Indiana with Colson, then beat one solid team after he came back. That's not enough to forgive their entire season. ND would be the team I fear knocks us out if I see their name listed in the tourney as I don't think they take 2/3 ACC bubble teams.

it's easier for me to say who won't be in - I actually agree with your list but I'm swapping USC out for Oklahoma.

I think its Cuse, Marquette or Oklahoma for 2 spots

I think you need to add Oklahoma to that list. I can’t see how they’re a lock.

Notre will be in, imo.

If only va tech didn't choke.

It doesn’t matter we are the third team out now according to Bees information from last night.

We were the second team out and then Davidson won so now we are third.

I can’t believe we’re still talking about our chances...
We don’t pass the eye test.
The analytics though are on our side.
6 of our 13 losses are to 1/2 seeds and the top 6 in the RPI(UVA x2, Duke, UNCx2, and Kansas)

11-2 nonconference with wins at Georgetown and UConn on a neutral floor, and Buffalo and Maryland at home.
Good road wins at Miami and Louisville.
We should be in but the eye test kills us.

Are you employing the same strategy you did in 2016 when you were so outspoken about our chances?

And Marquette misses the chair in the game

I feel more confident watching CBS as they have us in, are doing the show (TBS) and keep showing us in graphics.

They just showed the resumes of 4 teams and ours matches up VERY favorably numbers-wise against the other 3 (St Mary's, Oklahoma, Marquette)

I'm honestly so over teams like St Mary's. It's not a Cinderella story if they win a few games. They're not good. They play no one.

They bring nothing to the tournament.

Somebody has a source that said we are in.

Somebody has a source that said we are out.

I say we are in because I trust Palm. I think OU gets the other bid.

Based on the matrix it’s one spot, Davidson didn’t suddenly put USC back on the bubble. That one spot goes to St. Mary’s or Az St. Everyone else is playing in the NIT. Lunardi may actually get Syracuse correct this time (next 4 out). Syracuse # 2 vs. Harvard or Wagner # 7 first round at the Dome.
