That’s what makes me so sure that Rickie isn’t it. Had the same feels about CDRW even after his decent performance when he came in relief a couple years ago. If anyone knows bad QB play it’s us.

In the last 25 years we’ve had maybe 3 great seasons; Nassib 2012, Dungey 2018, McCord 2024. Other than those 3 am i missing anyone?

I think the ol was fine yesterday, nothing great but I didn't watch Collins play like that and think it was because of pressure

DL sure, but college defenses stink generally

Dukes defense stinks and that including they got to play Collins

QB is everything
If your QB plays badly enough , it's no different than if the whole team has no idea what they're doing

Which is why you can't keep sending Collins out there, he will lose this team

And I worry how it will go if there is dissension, things have gone pretty well so far thankfully but I wonder how it will go when things aren't going their way

It's fun to think about what guys would've done in different contexts

After Uconn I said to myself well I'm going to be watching on the couch all season. This team is too young and too many missing pieces.

Then after Clemson I said well I'm gonna have to block these Saturdays and really try to make it to a game or two or at least get out with the guys and have a good time. Not so easy to convince the wife on that with a newborn by the way but if we're winning in Death Valley that's a special season coming.

Now another 180 and will prob be getting into Fall stuff and just doing score checks on SMU next week.

The coaches better wake up though I put this on their shoulders more than Rickie, their Identity is an air raid offense whether they want to pretend it's something else or not and you better have the QB that can run it. And the Defense has no identity except tons of unharnessed and inconsistent young talent.

I'm already thinking about Saint Angeli coming back, tailgating and blowing up some cupcakes next year.
