Since we have this season mostly wrapped up already, I think it would be good for recruiting purposes if the boys flashed the <> and posed for the cameras after each basket.

I cringed when my wife bought me a Dynasty shirt. I've never worn it, and I hope to never see the Dynasty sign ever again.

I like Donte and love Jonny, but that was some of the stupidest I've seen in Syracuse hoops. It was almost funny we missed the tourney that year just because of that.

That team went 21-14. They finished 9-9 in the BE. Lost in the quarter finals of the BET to Villanova 82-63. It was one of the most listless performances I've ever seen in 35 years of watching SU basketball. They then lost in the NIT quarters. So we were one of the top 72 in the country.

That's one helluva "dynasty."

I was ever happier than when Donte turned pro. Don't consider him part of the family.

That's harsh. He had reasons for what he did. He's also expressed that he'd have liked to have played at the Dome for another year.

He's been a regular visitor to the Hill. I saw him at the piano in the Sheraton lobby during one of my visits to Syracuse.

He's a good "kid" who had non-basketball, non-school, issues to deal with. Another year to mature in Syracuse would've been good for him in all aspects of life. He knows that. There's no reason to have such feelings toward him.

So they were about as good as UConn's national championship team most of the year...

I fully support the return of the dynasty sign. Not for any particular players, but because it's fantastic marketing. Imagine Jay showing up at cuse games @ MSG sporting an Orange Dynasty Tee. Imagine him standing up and giving the fans the dynasty sign and having the cuse fans return the favor. To have arguably the most successful entertainer / businessman of our time linked to our team? Forget the dynasty that never was... Time for a reboot; something that has nothing to do with Donte or any other player. How about JB's dynasty of successful seasons over the past 3,000 years...
