Dungey overthrows Estime deep. Think the 2 read the defense differently. Estime tapped his helmet to signal "my bad"

I need to rewatch the game. I think Dungey threw a good ball and Estime rounded his route a bit and got too far under it. It looked like a good throw that should've went for six and as I mentioned elsewhere Dungey threw him open vs waiting for him to get past coverage.

edit- or was this the later throw to Philips I'm thinking of?

On that deep shot to AC, where he was pressured and heaved it 45 yards, where it bounced off of his hands - I remember thinking:

- Wilson he's sacked or throws an INT
- AJ escapes but needs too much "wind up" to get it there on time
- Hunt escapes but misses by 3ft

That was the pass that gives me the most optimism for Eric. Eludes the naked rusher like he was in slow motion, keeps his vision downfield, flicks a 40yd pass onto his wideout's hands while on the move. Plus, short throws with the target sitting down, he is automatic...

Yep. It was weird seeing him hit those short throws so easily. Hunt was far from auto.

Cornelius didn't do himself any favors on Friday night. Hopefully he sorts that out this week. Seemed like getting open wasn't an issue for him.

I liked the pass that Dungey threw to Lewis over the middle. other teams kill us over the middle and Nassib and Lemon made their living over the middle. You can't throw everything to the side or deep.

Yes, but, that throw was behind Lewis... Ben really bailed him out with a great catch.

Made up for AC's drops.

Actually these are the types of stories the post should be writing. Now if we can get Mike Lindsley to stop trashing the northeast and Syracuse in football WHILE HE PRAISES THE SEC AND THE BIG 10.He thinks the teams in the Northeast could never ever be good again. He trashed Pitt while praising Ped St. last week. He says the weather sucks in the Northeast for football while ignoring Wisc. and Mich. weather. The guy just loves to flame on Syracuse for some reason

Mike has called just about everything in this town a "dump" at one time or another. I think he just doesn't want to be here. He tried moving up and they sent him back.

I was at function sitting there watching him order his father to buy him beer.Never bought one in return,so I bought his father one after watching that poor display. It was the type of thing that you need to have witnessed in order to grasp it.

cornelius dropped a TD but making that catch is something most WR dont do.

There are dozens of catches every week that make that one look pretty ordinary.

Our WRs are going to have to step up their game and make plays like that one if we're going to have a fighting chance this year.

Yep. I think Ishmeal catches that. AC needs to.

i doubt it.. you dont see WR do complete 360 with a throw that far off line get caught all that often. could have caught it and should have are different things

I think this is slightly overstated, and I don't feel up to giving geometry lessons. But let's just agree that it could have been caught and given our QB situation we are going to need those to be caught more often than not.

Rematch the replay. He was in position to make the catch. I remember the replay they showed and he was already in position to catch the ball, was not an immediate 360 look for ball. He was turned with plenty of time to make a play

Curtis Samuel caught a very similar ball last night for OSU, to prove your point.
