A little defense didn't hurt anybody LOL!!! And after watching our defense get thrashed by FSUs backup QB last week I would like a little bit of the attention devoted to the defense haha

Here's the big thing though. Defense can't be relied upon in college football. It just can't. Sure, some teams can have a great defense. Maybe even for back to back years! But defense still lags so far behind offense at the college level that focusing on it is worthless in comparison. You have way more control and way more effect focusing on offense. You can't rely on getting a quasi-NFL level defense at the college level, there's too much luck involves. That's not nearly as true with offense.
