Toledo vs NIU tonight

Flipping back between this and the Colorado Football 30 for 30. Wow have the times changed. They used to be a powerhouse.

So were we. Including beating them in the 1993 Fiesta Bowl. That was a great SU team. I am watching the 30 for 30 too. Love these documentaries

They are all really good. That game was awesome. It's a little scary that from where we were and they were that year we played in the fiesta bowl, both programs both kind of took the same track.

The dude is 58, stop.
First off I will not stop because you tell me too. Who are you?
Second, I don't care if he is 58 he can recruit Florida and right now we need talent. The guy has HC experience and I don't care if the next HC isn't here long term as we win games.

Northern Illinois came back to win! Wow! Bad 4th quarter for Toledo. NIU played well without their best receiver and QB. #MACtion

Campbell is a bum and a moron! He couldn't beat a team without their top QB and WR. That is just pathetic coaching! .. Sorry, just practicing for this board in case we hire him.

You can't expect to beat a team playing back-ups because the Toldeo coaches didn't have enough time to adjust the game-plan to account for them playing. ;)

Wait a second, Toledo had 50 rushing plays for 291 yards vs 33 pass attempts for 136 yards. Perfect offense for the Dome!

Carey should be on any list. He's won a lot of games since taking over for Doeren.

So now we are discussing hiring Carey who is the HC at the school Shafer started his DC career? Oh the irony of it all.

I wasn't saying that he was a bum lol. It was an entertaining game and it was a pretty good finish to a good game!

Oh I know that, I was teasing because if we hire Campbell and he loses a game to a team playing its backup QB and WR, he will get killed on here. ;)

We probably need Campbell to lose a couple coming in if we think he is the right guy with the number of job openings out there

i only watched a little i loved how ho hum both teams were about going for it. both coaches get it

A little defense didn't hurt anybody LOL!!! And after watching our defense get thrashed by FSUs backup QB last week I would like a little bit of the attention devoted to the defense haha
Agreed. I like offense, but college football games are starting to look like NBA all-star games. All of the recent rule changes are giving offense a big advantage.

Yes and somehow we still look severely disadvantaged on offense, strange

our defense is to play slower on offense than everyone. that's a great lesson for his youth. don't snap that ball too quick, don't you know how bad our defense is?

those lessons are selective
