However ... I do applaud the reporter giving us both sides of the story, reporting just the facts without bias. She even said Bernie was put on paid administrative leave which almost no one has been saying. Of course, Bernie is fired now but at the time that was his status.

Not me. At least on the basis of what I have read so far.

The guy is accused himself of sexual abuse and his father refutes his story.

There must be more that we have not heard yet.

Not defending his actions but if he was molested that is probably the root cause of his pedophilia. There's a good chance he hates himself for even having those feelings, much less acting on them. If that all stems back to Bernie, then coming forward to protect more kids makes sense. He might not want any more kids turned into the monster he's become.

Strange that this kid's dad denies it all:
Tomaselli's father, Fred Tomaselli, denies ever abusing his son. He also says his son is lying about ever meeting Bernie Fine.
"He never met Bernie Fine, I've never talked to or met Bernie Fine," Fred Tomaselli said in a phone interview Sunday afternoon. "At the time, I did bring him to a couple games in the 2003/2004 timeframe in Syracuse, and we always had nosebleed seats and always left immediately after the game. We never stayed overnight, never let him do his own trip, never went to an autograph session, never went to the game in Pittsburgh. It's all totally fabricated for whatever reason."

It was strange seeing this kid rant and rave over on the OTL Facebook page for days stating he was driving up to Syracuse to report to authorities he was molested by Fine. It just seems like nothing in this entire sage is cut and dry. Obviously, something is there, I just have no clue what it is exactly.
