After trying out at QB, the Giants said…TE.

And invited him to a mini camp. Which was impressive.

Then cut him.

Some can play in the NFL, some cannot.

In Eric's defense, he WAS on Cleveland's practice squad for 2 months. About the same time Devito currently has.

Both guys were deemed to have enough NFL potential, to earn a paycheck. I'll continue to wish the best for any of our former guys.

I’d like to think injuries played a bit of a role.

Just the same, ED could have done what TD did last weekend, and probably done it better. At least he would have been a threat to run. Yes I know TD scored on a run.

I just don get how anyone can get to that level and no game IQ at all.. even now down 21 with 12 min left.. He runs OB with the ball which keeps the clock running when throwing it OB saves yds and time and he does over and over since he was at SU?
