That's fair. Admittedly I was ready to see Rex long before he came in on Saturday.

I do think the lack of Spring and Summer Ball hurt us more than most. Defense did play well but individual responsibilities on D are much easier to learn. Big positive that our young linebackers seem to have picked it up so quickly... Some serious talent in that room.

Let's hope UNC is just really good and with that game under our belt this weekend is much more fun to take part in

There was a part of me wondering if the UNC game was the same as Liberty last year but roles reversed. I hope I am wrong on that but I tend to wonder if UNC is nowhere near top 25 and we hung with them because of them. Not sure if it was just the 3-3-5 but they kept the passing game really simple and other than fatigue late they were tossing slants and short outs alongside running the ball and not much else. I sure hope it was how good they are vs the opposite of us. I do see a lot of similarities to Liberty last year though as I noted...
