Tommy Devito: Patriots

If he's on the active roster it'll mean something. If he's not, then it's just a cool experience. Still, it'll be an experience that he's earned.
If I am reading Google correctly, the 3rd string (emergency QB) is part of the 53 man active roster but not part of the 48 man game day roster. So technically he is eligible to play if the one and two QB's go down.

So, he is still suited up ready to report for duty. It's not like he is in civilian clothes.

If they win, he'll get a ring. Will add to the list of SU grads that have one.

Pats win: DeVito and Marrone get rings
Seahawks win: Justin Outten and Courtney Jackson get rings (I'm assuming that you get a ring even if you're on the practice squad.)

He didn't graduate from SU. I know that we count former SU players in the pros as Syracuse alums whether they graduated or not, but it's hard for me not to think of DeVito as the guy who quit on his team in the middle of a season because he got benched.

I think he did actually graduate from SU. I believe he was a redshirt in 2017.

Dream job.
It still kills me that Doug Marrone left.

He did an amazing job revitalizing the nearly dead SU Football Program.

He should have been a legacy coach - a Syracuse University legend.

I wonder if he regrets his decision following the 2012 season.
