What our offense can be this year. This is the first time that all 3 of our other "expected" scorers all played well in the same game. Fair has been under too much pressure. Cooney hit 7 threes that first game, but he can't do it all alone. You saw Grant and Ennis play very, very well offensively, with Cooney hitting from outside. Fair didn't have to force it as much.

Except for Coleman being MIA on offense, this was as good as we have played on that side of the ball. Between the Minnesota game and tonight against a very legit team in Cal, we have stepped up to the challenge both times. Very impressive tonight. Yes, we have to rebound better and defend better, but Cal is a very good team.

Cooney is taking it to the hoop also. That's something that's relatively new. Plus he is much more athletic than most people think he is.

After the StF. game I told my son that we were painful to watch because we had no offense. He said relax dad is only one game. As usual he was right. Great performance tonight against a good team. Ennis was superb. Grant must have gotten over his jet lag, and Cooney proceeds to show me how little I know about basketball since I had just about giving up on him after last year. Finally where is that annoying Igor. he must be hiding somewhere.

To be fair coleman wasn't really mia on offense. He was mia in the game.
