Sato's premature move and crash put the race under the yellow at the end and prevented what would have been a drag race among several cars for the checkered flag. Still it was a great Indy 500, with a record number of lead changes and all the contenders in the same camera shot throughout the race.
Maybe they should just send everybody to the pits when there's a crash and bring them back out when they are ready to race again so the race would end...with a race.
