100%. That was amazing fun but is blowing out WVU at the dome under HCDM’s watch was a lot more powerful for me

Sacking Tom Savage 9 times in 2009 was very satisfying. Doug Hogue was an animal that day. Maybe not a top 5 game but it was a good day!

It was 9-3 Purdue with 3 minutes left in the third quarter. After that there were five lead changes, and we won 32-29 on an insane play with a few seconds left.

That was probably the most embarrassing win in Dome history. FCS Nova had to shank basically an extra point of a field goal to get it to OT.

That was a low key pivotal game for the program. Had to stop our short losing streak to Rutgers and put the G Rob era behind us. HCDM put together a great game plan

1. GRob losing to Akron 42-28 in the Dome in 2008.
2. GRob losing to Miami (OH) on the road after beating Louisville in 2007. Edit: Also would have accepted the three opening games where we were outscored by Washington, Iowa, and lllinois by 100 points or something. The Louisville win was so unexpected, to then follow up with a loss to a Mac team. Sigh.
3. 2004... losing to 2-9 Temple on the road.
4. 2014... Villanova. Just a terrible game, even with the "win."
5. 2019... losing to Maryland 63-20. A 3-9 Maryland team...
6-20... probably some combination of G-Rob games, Shafer duds, and Coach P getting us embarrassed on national TV.

I'd put Miami #2. Maybe recency bias, but being down 21-0 to cap off a 9 win regular season is more meaningful than the VT and BC games.

Boring, yes. But winning at Blacksburg was such a big deal at the time. The previous 3 matchups there we were outscored 123-10.

It was a noon game, so I really really really enjoyed a full day of Northern Virginia bar hopping that day.
