I would like to know what others think about Dino trying to pick up a backup QB, WR, and/or an offensive lineman through the transfer portal.

It would be nice to at least have a quality back up at QB next season in case of injury.

I still haven’t figured that out. Why some are eligible immediately and others have to sit a year. What is the differentiating factor?

Have to have a qualifying reason to become eligible immediately which if I’m not mistaken is up to the NCAA to qualify

A good lawyer. Fields and Martell's camp paid for someone who could bend the rules. The kid from Virginia Tech who had a legit reason to transfer has to sit out an entire year.
