Is that not what Doty is? A major part of being an alpha dog is mentality…. I don’t see that going away just because he is stepping up a level. It’s up to GMAC to get him quality looks.

Kiyan could be an alpha if he gets stronger and gets more explosive. He has the skills and the mentality.

Agree I would love a proven alpha but I think in this day and age there are no guarantees.

Going from the A-10 to the ACC would be stepping up a level. I would argue going from the MAAC to the ACC is stepping up multiple levels.

We are the only team in the ACC even with a committed transfer right now.

I would like to see us go the Illinois route and look overseas some more. We should target a European center, a PG and maybe a stretch 4. That could be a good path to success.

Would love that route for a big man then we do very well this year and can build on that when we lose some of the 1 year mercenary adds this year.

Not panicking yet, but the roster so for looks great in terms of role /bench players. We need at least 2 alpha dogs/go to players and hope that we will get at least one this upcoming week.
