How much money do we have? Everyone is saying we have more but no one has a clue how much. I heard we had about $7-8 million last year. This year I’ve heard $9-10 million. With NIL inflation, that’s about the same as last year. We can all hope that Dual elevates his offensive game, White adds 20 pounds and becomes better offensively, Anthony adds muscle and toughness, and the wings come as advertised.

All wishful thinking.

We'll find out soon enough. I would guess there are 2 or 3 big signings coming.

If there aren't, then maybe they didn't spend their money well, or perhaps we couldn't close on some targets.

The players we have signed so far are not taking us to the top of the ACC. NIL is still an issue for sure. No reason to believe otherwise yet.

We don't know that yet. There are still quite a few unsigned players.
But we'll find out pretty soon, as guys start coming off the board in bigger numbers.

Given the first one seems likely to be Orange it’s hard to place Mayes despite him being a really impressive prospect. Tillery fits well to be in the other PG spot and I think he’s more than capable of winning it and Dual slides to backup 1-3 as needed.

If Tillery is the other PG, I don't think that's going to be good enough.
Only played 12 minutes a game, and none of his stats jump out in a good way.

Another guy who will only occasionally make threes, 70% from the foul line for your primary ball handler, and has a nothing special assist to turnover ratio in his limited time.

White is faster and can jump higher. Better motor. I don't think Anthony is starting. I think it ends up being Doty. Tobiason at the 3. That's how I read it. Fancy you haven't mentioned Euro who's a huge pickup.

He looks skilled, but the pace and physicality of US basketball will be more than he's seen before. Those who consider him a 4/5 Star player, I don't see that. I see him as a 3/4 Star player.

I hope he's fast enough, and strong enough. He's got a nice shot, and he finds space driving the lane. But so did Kiyan Anthony against top high school opposition.

If so, we should be able to get a very good center and a quality backup PG.

Let’s see if that happens.

I think we need a starting PG; we already have our backup. And I'd like to another natural forward, too. Folefac has positives, but we need a guy who can make the 3 and defend forwards. I'm not sure I see that right now. Doty and Mahmutovic are going to get their chances, of course. But will they be able to guard 6-7 guys in the ACC?
